Kacangan Mucuna Bracteata

Mucuna bracteata is a type of annual (perennial) legume that is used as ground cover on cultivated land, which is also called Leguminosae Cover Crop (LCC) which is widely used by farmers in oil palm plantations and rubber plantations in Indonesia. As is known, this legume plant is the most ideal plant to be used as a ground cover crop, especially in oil palm plantation areas. This is because in addition to helping suppress weed growth, there are advantages of peanut plants compared to other cover crops, namely their ability to fix nitrogen (N) so that soil nutrients increase.
